NaBloPoMo, November 2: HDR

I’ve been trying out the photography/processing technique called high dynamic range imaging (HDR). It involves taking several exposures of the same shot with different shutter speeds, then blending the images with special software (I use Photomatix) and tone-mapping the resulting image so the final image captures a wider dynamic range than a single exposure can.

Here are my favourite results so far:

HDR Pink Lake 1

Bonnechere Sky

Sunset Tree - HDR

Right hand drive! HDR

Bob's Lake Sunset, HDR

Clyde Forks, HDR
